Quality Counts Child Care Grant Now Available

Questions about the Grant Guidelines will be answered at the Information Sessions. Please bring your questions to the Information Session.

Children’s Home + Aid Child Care Resource + Referral Program, working in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Human Services, announces the availability of the Quality Counts Child Care (QCCC) Grant funds. The grant program has had major changes! Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the Quality Counts Child Care (QCCC) Grant Guidelines & Requirements before attending an Information session. Attendance at a QCCC Grant Information Session is required for participation in the grant program. Grant applications will be available at the Information session.

Please print a copy of the QCCC Grant Guidelines & Requirements and bring them to the Information Session you are attending. You must preregister for an Information Session at jryan@childrenshomeandaid.org or 1-800-467-9200, ext. 104.

Professional Development Funds

Children's Home + Aid Child Care Resource + Referral (CCR+R) Program receives funds from the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) to support individual pursuit of professional development in early care and education. Family child care providers, child care center staff, and director's, are eligible to apply for these funds. Professional Development Funds may be applied toward credentials and/or a conference related to early care and education or management. priority is given to programs currently caring for children whose care is paid for through the Illinois Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program, with a greater priority to those with 25% or more of their enrollment consisting of IDHS funded children. However, you do not have to serve IDHS funded children to apply.

Accreditation Assistance Funds

Children's Home + Aid Child Care Resource + Referral (CCR+R) Program receives funds from the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) to support child care programs pursuit of accreditation. Family Child Care Providers and Child Care Administrator’s are eligible to apply for these funds. Accreditation Assistance Funds may be applied toward fees associates with the accreditation process. Priority is given to programs currently caring for children whose care is paid for through the Illinois Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program, with a greater priority to those with 25% or more of their enrollment consisting of IDHS funded children. However, you do not have to serve IDHS funded children to apply.
