Children's Home + Aid Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR+R) Program was founded in 1990 to support and strengthen the child care system in Illinois.

The Children's Home + Aid CCR+R Program is an informational resource for: families, child care providers, employers and communities in Bond, Clinton, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair and Washington counties.

The goal of the Child Care Resource + Referral Program is to deliver the highest quality service. If at any time you are dissatisfied with services provided by CCR+R staff, you may file a complaint with the Director, Supervisor, the CCAP Worker's Coordinator, or CCAP Manager.

Who's Caring for the Kids provides a comprehensive study of the early childhood workforce in Illinois. This 2008 edition highlights the changes in the education, background, and stability of the workforce since the publication of the first Who's Caring for the Kids report in 2001. The report paints a picture of an emerging system of professional development with a coherent and articulated career framework. It concludes with a call to action with specific recommendations for practitioners, teacher educators, Administrators, and policymakers.
